This was me with my class in what may have been the most satisfying years of my life to that point. We students of ARTS spent all day learning the history, construction and shop skills necessary to effect repairs on all of the 7 members of the accordion family. At night, we’d play. I was practicing 2-3 hours a day and was under the tutelage of Helmi Harrington PHD. It was the year I became an actual musician in every way possible.
